Mobile Mapper 6 With Built-in SiRFIII GPS, Camera
This little guy is a real workhorse. It has the Windows Mobile 6 operating system, a built-in 12 channel SiRFStarIII GPS unit, flashlight, 2 megapixel camera, and it runs on two AA batteries. The Mobile Mapper 6 is perfect for running ArcPad, it can bring up an entire county of NAIP color orthorectified imagery in a MrSid format. With an optional SD memory card, it can store huge amounts of road, stream, street, utility and other types of GIS data.
The Mobile Mapper 6 weighs less than 8 ounces and is rugged and waterproof to IPX7 standards. It not only looks good, it can be taken anywhere you need to go. The unit runs on two AA batteries for 10 hours. It works with any kind of AA battery, including alkaline, NiMH, or Lithium Ion.
For users who need a variety of built-in programs, the Mobile Mapper 6 includes Office Mobile (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), a picture and video viewer, and Windows Media Player. It also includes an eCompass, G sensor, and a barometer.
