ArcPad® 7.1.1 to ArcPad® 8.1 Software by ESRI

The ArcPad software is used by field foresters, geologists, engineers, city utility workers, and a variety of others. It provides users with the ability to map features in the field, navigate to existing points, and it works well with a wide variety of GPS units. Shape files can be brought into ArcPad from ArcView.

ArcPad works with a variety of imagery formats including MrSid files, geo jpegs, and others. It allows users to overlay points, lines and polygons over the top of imagery files.

ArcView® 9.3 Software by ESRI

The ArcView software by ESRI is part of the ArcGIS mapping package. It is the premiere software for mapping used throughout the world. ArcView consists of three desktop applications including Arc Map, Arc Catalog, and Arc Toolbox. Together, these tools allow users to make professional quality maps.
